Finding a nice inexpensive hotel in Las Vegas is not too difficult, especially with the current economic situation.

If you are determined to stay on the Las Vegas Strip then your choice of cheap Las Vegas hotels is going to be somewhat limited. But, if you are willing to look for some deals that Las Vegas is famous for.... you can probably get a Las Vegas hotel room on the Vegas Strip for a lot less than you thought you could!

- Join a slot club at the various hotels. The Vegas hotels often offer members of the slot club discounts and promotions.

- Locate a cheap Las Vegas hotel in downtown Las Vegas. The hotel room rates are much cheaper off of the Vegas Strip.

- Research Las Vegas room rates through online travel companies like Travelocity and Kayak. They often have special cheap Las Vegas hotel rates in conjunction with airline tickets.

- You should contact the Las Vegas hotels directly and they will usually honor any published hotel rate for their hotel that you can prove.

- Try to be flexible in your trip schedule. Arriving a day earlier or staying a day longer might qualify you for a special Vegas hotel discount or coupon.
